My name is Omar and I started Hack Your Wallet with one mission only, empowering everyone to make better financial decisions. Financial advice is expensive and financial literacy is not taught at school.
Misinformation regarding investing is all over social media. So I am here to promote financial literacy, share financial hacks that will save you money, and provide high-quality reference material for all things finance.
The aim is to empower as many people as possible to make sound investment decisions on their own without needing an expensive advisor.
A Bit About Me
I have a background in Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Islamic Finance. Additionally, I have practical experience managing a 7-figure portfolio comprised of various asset classes. Finally, I have a savvy approach to personal finance that makes me money every step along the way.
I became frustrated after discovering that the vast majority of my friends have little to no financial literacy. I found myself spending hours demystifying pensions, asset classes, leverage, and mortgages to my friends.
